Marble Colorado Mine and Ghost Town

Everybody else shows you pictures of the town. I decided to show you pictures of the mine. The marble for the tomb of the unknown soldier came from here. The replacement is being mined now as the current one has developed a crack. (2003)

Waterfall on the hike to the mine.

Now I am inside looking out.

How do I get to that ladder?

Man what a hole.

What is that green stuff down there?

I never was much for climbing.

See the pay loader?

10X zoom gets me to the man.
