Ganes Creek Alaska Mining Camp 2008

Not much changed from 2006, A few new faces, the intrusion of some geologists with a noisy helicopter and a midnight raid by a bear. Thought I heard a couple shots at about 5 in the morning. The bear was only about 350 pounds. I did finally get to see the dredge and take a few photos. Also an old machine shop with some interesting historical machinery. Just think, they had to lug this stuff in here with horses and sled.
