- Found on US Highway 36, the old two-lane highway before the freeways came along. A store with a wind battered sign and several old buildings around the store. This was a lonely store and gas station for travelers going east or west through Colorado. I wasn’t looking for the town I just happened to pass by and had to turn around and check it out.
