- Plains town still trying to survive. A partial ghost town the once platted out at 5 blocks by 4 blocks. Today the town is a mix of abandon buildings alongside of occupied homes. The post office is still running from its humble beginnings in 1910. The railroad came and went leaving the last time in the 1980s. Named after William H Gill
