Burrows Park Colorado Townsite – Ghost town

Little left in this picturesque setting in a high mountain valley at over 10,000 feet. Two cabins restored by the forest service and a starting point for the hike to several nearby fourteeners. Sometimes called White Cross this town never amounted to much and probably never had in excess of one hundred people living here. Poor roads, remote location, elevation and limited ore in the area all contributed to the towns demise.
