Rexford Colorado
Photos Mike Sinnwell September 2018
Once a mining camp owned and operated by the Rexford Mining Company. This was a company town organized in 1881 consisting of numerous businesses, salons, boarding house and gin mill. Died when the mine was played out. Â Fifty years ago, when Robert Brown visited there were still numerous buildings standing. Today, not so much. Apparently Rexford had a short lived post office from January 1882 thru November 1883 that received mail twice a week.
